Yorckstraße is the long street in Berlin that connects Kreuzberg with Schöneberg, Eastern with Western Berlin. I initially wanted to visit Viktoriapark which is very close by but then got so distracted by the remarkable street art and the French rustic flair of those few streets. These places are what make Berlin so very different from any other city I have visited so far: A progressive abundance of art, revolutionary spirit and that certain aggressive undertone that hides in the corners of Kreuzberg.
The other sunny riverside shots were taken on the same day before I went to visit Berlin Fashion Week at Reichstagsufer. I just admire how the sun makes the most meaningless concrete building appear as a nostalgic and poetic place to be. Lucky, good old sun decided to come back for a few days.
